The Secret Behind Training That Actually Works

Let's dive into something that makes our training programs truly effective: Our Training Validation Process. It's the behind-the-scenes work that transforms good training into better learning experiences.

Why Validation Matters

This isn't just about checking boxes; it's about ensuring every minute you spend in training delivers tangible value to your role.

Here's how we ensure every training session meets our high standards:

Subject Matter Experts review all materials for technical accuracy and completeness, ensuring the content reflects current best practices and industry standards

Amplify Trainers from each workstream validate content against real-world scenarios, making sure what you learn directly applies to the challenges you face daily

Delivery methods are tested to identify potential knowledge gaps before rollout, so we can address learning obstacles before they impact your experience

The Result

Training that bridges the gap between technical content and practical business application—delivering results that matter to your daily work. When you walk away from a training session, you're not just informed; you're equipped to make an immediate impact.

Process

From XA to F&O: What Did They Used to Call That?

The transition from XA to F&O brings many changes, including new terminology that can feel unfamiliar at first. To ease this transition, a comprehensive crosswalk document has been created that translates old XA terms into their corresponding F&O equivalents.

What the Crosswalk Includes

The guide maps familiar XA terminology to the new F&O language, covering:

-Core business processes and their new names

-Field labels and system terminology

-Report names and data classifications

-Menu navigation and module references

Making the Transition Smoother

Instead of wondering "what used to be called..." or trying to remember new terminology during training sessions, users can quickly reference this crosswalk to connect existing knowledge with the new ERP language. This approach helps maintain productivity during the learning curve and reduces confusion during the migration period.

Available Soon

The XA to F&O crosswalk will be ready for distribution and included in all training materials. Having this reference tool available means users can focus on learning new processes rather than struggling with unfamiliar terminology.

Technology

Getting the Most Out of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

UAT effectiveness depends on following proper testing procedures and documentation standards. To ensure consistent and thorough testing across all business areas, the amplify team will offer comprehensive guidance on how to execute test cases properly and capture meaningful results.

Test Case Execution Guidelines

Clear instructions via a ClickLearn lesson will cover the fundamentals of proper test case execution, including how to follow step-by-step procedures without skipping validation points, when to mark tests as passed versus failed, and how to distinguish between system issues and user error. Guidance will also address how to handle unexpected results, when to stop testing and escalate issues, and how to restart tests after fixes are implemented. Additionally, testers will learn how to properly document actual results compared to expected outcomes, ensuring accurate and useful feedback for the development team.

This systematic approach to documentation ensures that testing efforts translate into meaningful system improvements and successful go-live preparation.
