Dear BW IT Team Members,

Becky Callahan, Senior XA Solutions Analyst, will retire this Friday, September 26, concluding an incredible 12 years of dedicated service with Barry-Wehmiller. Becky, who is based in Duncan, South Carolina, is a valued colleague and a trusted partner to many across our IT team. It has been a true privilege for so many of us to work alongside her over the years, and her contributions will leave a lasting impact.

Becky was a Senior Systems Analyst/Consultant for Merritech (Infor Channel Partner) when it was acquired by BW in 2013. Following the acquisition, she was brought on to continue supporting the same customers she had already been serving, ensuring continuity and a seamless transition. By 2018, she was transferred to BW Flexible Systems as a Senior Systems Analyst. In 2020, when the Packaging Support Team was formed, she began reporting to Claude Stoltz, Director, Enterprise Application Support. She took on her current role as Senior XA Solutions Analyst under the leadership of Don Hanson, Infor XA Support Leader, when the Enterprise Team was formed in 2022.

Claude Stoltz and Becky worked closely together. Claude highlights Becky’s hard work on numerous Packaging projects, such as MES and Pick to Ship, BWFS Parts Move, XA data migration, Synerlink, and more. Becky’s unique contributions across teams and projects on high-impact efforts such as AR Invoice Optimization—which led to a $6 million reduction in open AR at BWFS within six months—and AP Settlement Matching for Finance Share Services reflect just how much of a trusted partner she is.

With admiration, Claude added, “We appreciate everything Becky has done for BW, the leadership she has shown, and her presence, making every day better. With deep gratitude, we wish Becky the very best in health and happiness in her retirement.”

Becky has many fond memories of her time at BW. One thing that really meant a lot to her was feeling like she was part of a family.

“This is what compelled me to join BW Flexible Systems in the Duncan facility. It made the travel more bearable to have made some friends,” Becky reflected.

In retirement, Becky looks forward to going to the beach, traveling, and cherishing quality time with her family.

As Becky begins this exciting new chapter, we celebrate her remarkable career. While she will be deeply missed, we wish her all the best in retirement.

Sincerely,

Frank Lanuto
