BARRY-WEHMILLER TO BE FEATURED ON CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING
Yesterday, Bob Chapman was interviewed by Elaine Quitano of CBS News Sunday Morning at our BW Packaging facility in Romeoville, IL. One of the show’s producers had seen a clip from Bob’s recent interview with Simon Sinek about layoffs via her LinkedIn feed and immediately reached out because she thought Bob’s response was so refreshing.
The interview with Bob will be part of a feature story exploring the issue and is tentatively scheduled to air on Sunday, Dec. 14.
In addition to Bob’s perspectives on layoffs, the CBS team was very interested in Barry-Wehmiller’s larger message about a new measure of success in business that is realized when businesses prioritize human vibrancy and economic growth in harmony.
Once their piece on layoffs runs, they offered to pitch the idea of a more comprehensive story about Barry-Wehmiller to the producers of other CBS news shows.
Several Romeoville team members were featured in some of the b-roll recorded for the piece. The CBS crew was incredibly impressed by the facility and hospitality they experienced while there.
