Sharing Barry-Wehmiller’s Environmental Sustainability Successes

Thanks for the feedback shared by many of you through the Every Voice Matters cultural assessment – we heard YOU!  Many of you highlighted your desire to better understand how Barry-Wehmiller is helping to build a more environmentally sustainable world, and how you can “get involved” with these efforts. We are pleased to share highlights of Barry-Wehmiller’s environmental sustainability accomplishments and introduce our global environmental sustainability community of practice. 

What we heard:

Barry-Wehmiller’s team members care deeply about environmental sustainability and want to better understand actions being taken today throughout BW and engage with other BW team members with the same passion.  We agree!

• Share a series of presentations that highlight sustainability accomplishments across Barry-Wehmiller.  See presentations here.
• Launch an Environmental Sustainability Community of Practice that will provide a platform for highlighting accomplishments, reflecting on trends, and inspiring each other. To be added to the 3x per year meeting series (which begins Friday, August 11), please email Geoff.Nykin@barry-wehmiller.com.

As we strive to be an organization where every person feels like they matter, we appreciate the feedback you shared in the Every Voice Matters assessment. We are currently in the process of holding feedback sessions to clarify what we heard and continue our action planning at the enterprise and local level.  Look for communication in the coming weeks and months about additional actions.
