2026-2027 BW college scholarship applications NOW OPEN!

Marjorie E. Chapman, the late mother of BW Chairman Bob Chapman, attended college, thanks to a generous banker in her hometown. Now, her estate is providing college scholarships for eligible BW team members’ legal dependent children. Since 2017, the Marjorie E. Chapman Memorial Scholarship has awarded 231 scholarships totaling over $1.4 million. Applications are due April 15. BWP innovations power PRONAL’s first packaging plant in Mexico

PRONAL Corrugados recently launched its first corrugated facility in Monterrey, Mexico, featuring state-of-the-art BW Papersystems (BWP) equipment. At the heart is the 2.85m BWP Harmony Corrugator, operating at speeds up to 350 meters per minute with the widest production width available. The corrugator can produce single- and double-wall corrugated packaging, with triple-wall capability coming this year—making it only the second machine in Mexico with that specialty.

Travelers without a REAL ID now face new TSA fee

Beginning February 1, 2026, travelers who reach TSA checkpoints without a REAL ID or passport will have to complete an online identity verification at TSA.gov and pay a $45 fee. They’ll be pulled from the checkpoint line to confirm their identity and submit payment, and approval isn’t guaranteed. Once verified, the clearance lasts up to 10 days; after that, travelers without compliant ID must repeat the process and pay again. Secure your REAL ID before your next trip to avoid delays and extra costs.

The guest Wi-Fi password is updated annually and is the same for everyone at all locations. Starting Saturday, February 21, 2026, guests at BW facilities will log in using the new password: ShineTheLight. Click here for the instructions for access and choose your desired language.
