BW’s new Global Competency Center (GCC) in Chennai, India offers engineering and sourcing expertise

Building on BW’s 30+ years in India, we’ve launched a Global Competency Center (GCC) in Chennai to accelerate innovation and growth. Serving as a hub of expertise in equipment 

innovation, technology and sourcing, the GCC supports BW businesses and taps into Chennai’s robust talent and

manufacturing ecosystem. Operating across multiple time zones, the GCC enables a 24-hour workflow, shortening lead times and allowing for quicker responses to growing engineering workloads.

BW Chief People Officer honored for leading innovative people practices

Rhonda Spencer was recognized by the Saint Louis Business Journal on May 15 as the 2025 Innovation in HR Award winner. Her nomination stated, “Translating BW’s pronounced focus on care, compassion and human connection into implementable team member programs that resonate with a globally diverse workforce –while driving business results – may seem almost paradoxical... She took on multiple executions spanning temperature-controlled units and manufacturing equipment, putting in long hours and solving problems with the project team. I am thankful for her upbeat attitude and excitement about this project."

How to schedule out-of-office messages in Teams and Outlook

Set an out-of-office (OOO) message to let team members and customers know where and how to get support while you’re away. Schedule through either Teams or Outlook, and it will automatically sync to the other application. Click here for full instructions. Remember, the best OOO messages include a professional greeting, timeframe of absence, an expectation for responding and a full name and contact information for urgent requests.

BW Travelers: Update Concur login now

Effective immediately, anyone booking travel within BW, will use OKTA Single Sign-On (SSO) to log into Concur. Please update your Concur login link to bw.care/travel. This will direct you to Concur via OKTA SSO. To log in using the mobile app, open a mobile browser and navigate to bw.care/travel.
