The 2025 Inaugural CI Summit brought together over 30 CI and operational leaders from our I&PA companies of Barry-Wehmiller for an intensive 2.5-day program. The CI Summit was held at Alliance Machine Solutions International in Spokane, WA (US). Through strategic visioning, hands-on benchmarking and collaborative workshops, participants advanced the OpEx 2.0 framework, deepened their leadership skills and expanded their professional networks. The summit featured Alliance’s CI journey, practical sessions on material availability, metrics and improvement events and the launch of the MoreSteam training pilot. Alliance was a strategic choice to host the event, as they were one of the first-ever recipients of the Inaugural Golden Donut awards for Operational Excellence. High satisfaction scores reflected the summit’s impact, with attendees highlighting the value of practical learning, leadership engagement, and actionable next steps. The event concluded with a commitment to ongoing knowledge sharing, piloting innovative training tools and driving CI excellence across the organization. One attendee said it was “a huge eye-opener—a great chance to understand what goes into our work, why we need certain things and what it takes to get there. It’s an opportunity to turn curiosity into growth and interest into leadership.”
