Recognizing and celebrating team members across Barry-Wehmiller for their contributions to our vision of people and performance in harmony is not only the right thing to do, it is a fundamental value of our culture.

Through the Every Voice Matters cultural assessment many of you shared the desire to see more recognition, and in response to that we encourage everyone, everywhere, to join us here in highlighting all of the great things happening across Barry-Wehmiller.

This newsletter celebrates a variety of achievements across the globe and showcases areas of our BW Recognition & Celebration culture from the Bob Chapman GPL Award program, the Shine the Light Award program, and more!

Bob Chapman

St. Louis, MO USA

Bob Chapman honored with Guiding Principles of Leadership Award

2025 capped off the end of BW Chairman Bob Chapman’s 50 years in the Chief Executive Officer role. (In late September ’25, Bob promoted son Kyle Chapman to the CEO position.) To celebrate the significant milestone, several events were held: a surprise awarding of BW’s most prestigious leadership honor, the Guiding Principles of Leadership Award, to Bob and a special gathering that evening to pay tribute to his extraordinary leadership. Watch the video highlighting the two celebrations.

Team members around the world were asked to submit testimonials about what Bob had taught them or how his leadership had made a difference in their lives. Click HERE to see those tributes.

In October of 2025, a video was produced to honor Bob’s 50 years as BW CEO. Watch this retrospective of his tenure with BW that opens with a clip from when his father Bill was CEO.
